And the Winner Is...

I received The Versatile Blogger award this week from Stuart Nager.  Please take a moment and check out his blog, Tale Spinning.  This is my first blog award, and to receive it from a fellow blogger who I just met, is pretty exciting.  Thanks Stuart!

Of course, as awards go, the recipient has a few responsibilities, one of which is to pass this award on to other bloggers who manage to stay versatile in their blogs while maintaining interesting content.  Stuart shared the process with me, so here's the steps (for those of you I'm passing this along to).

Bloggers who accept this award should:
  1. Thank the person who gave you the award and link back to them in your post. (Done and done.)
  2. Share 7 things about yourself (See below)
  3. Pass this Award along to 15 recently discovered blogs and let them know about it! I picked blogs that I enjoy reading.  Many of them are in the Platform Building Campaign with me, and I'm enjoying getting to know these writers through the campaign.

OK, so 7 things about me:

  1. I love to drink Vanilla Soy Chai - hot or cold
  2. I'm a corporate trainer, and I love it!
  3. I took my Dad's Physics class when in college.  That was different.
  4. I'm a Christian and try to find some way to incorporate faith into my writing, but I prefer to not hit you over the head with it.
  5. I love music and singing.
  6. If I didn't have fibromyalgia, I probably would have auditioned for Survivor.
  7. I collect giraffes and have probably more than 300 in various forms (statues, jewelry, pictures, clothing, etc.)

Now, to recognize some other versatile bloggers.  The Versatile Blogger Award goes to:

She's Got Character. A Feast of Fictional Heroines, and other points of writing...
Creation and Compassion
Once Upon a Time: tales of love, magic, and psychopaths
Mystic Treehouse

KayKay’s Corner
AE Marling
Bards & Prophets
Compulsive Creator
Anne-Mhairi Simpson
A Haphazard Blog
It Only Happens to Me
Meredith Mansfield’s Blog

Congratulations to each of you.  The choice is yours.  If you accept this award, please follow the steps listed above.

Thanks for that. I was just cruising through the comments on my blog and found you had given me the Versatile blogger. Thanks again.

I've never had a vanilla soy chai, but it sounds really good right now. :)
LG, try it and let me know what you think. They're yummy!
Thank you, Barbara! I try to keep my blog light and funny, because the world needs more light and funny. I hope some of your readers check out my blog (A Haphazard Blog) and enjoy it enough to come back each time I post something else crazy.

Thanks sooo much for passing this award on to me :) And congrats on receiving it!
Daina and Kristina, you're welcome. You deserve it. And, yes, Daina, I agree, Survivor would have been so much fun. I'll jsut have to be an armchair contender.

On the other hand, we're writers, we have our imagination, which can take us wherever we want to go, and further!
